Umrah from Canada

The Toronto District School Board's March break runs 15/03/2027 to 19/03/2027. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah lists 09/03/2027 as the last day Umrah visas are issued this season and 23/03/2027 as the last day to enter Saudi Arabia (checked 19/10/2026). A March break trip on an Umrah visa can work, but the visa has to be issued by 09/03/2027, in the last days of Ramadan. Eid al-Fitr is expected around 09/03/2027 or 10/03/2027, depending on the moon sighting, so apply early and don't leave it to the final week.

Canadian citizens may be able to travel on the tourist eVisa instead. The Umrah permit rules for tourist eVisa holders around the end of the season are announced separately, so check them before you book. We tell you what applies when you ask. A break that starts after 23/03/2027 will not work on an Umrah visa.

A land package covers everything after you land in Jeddah or Madinah. You book the flights with the airline or agent you choose. We arrange:

• hotels in Makkah and Madinah, close to the Haram if you want
• a private car or van from the airport, between the two cities and back

• help with the visa paperwork and the Nusuk permits

We are not TICO registered

We are an Umrah company based in Islamabad, Pakistan, with no office in Canada. We are not TICO registered. If you book flights with a Canadian airline or agent, any protection for those flights is between you and them. Our quote covers the ground services it lists. If you want a TICO-registered agent behind the whole trip, a Canadian agency can give you that and we can't.

You will see Canadian offers with a "$" and no currency, or a "from" price that doesn't say whether flights are in it. Our quotes state the currency, per person or per room, the room sharing, the hotel names and nights, and the date we checked the price. Flights are never included.

Canada's travel advice says to avoid all travel to King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh (checked 19/10/2026), so check that your connection doesn't go through it.

From Vancouver or Calgary, an extra rest night at the start suits children and grandparents, and a first night close to the Haram means less walking while everyone is tired. We don't issue visas and can't promise one. The Saudi authorities decide. We make the hotel and transport bookings the application needs and help you through it.

Canadian citizens may be able to use the Saudi tourist eVisa, which allows Umrah outside the Hajj period. Check the current list on visa.visitsaudi.com. The Saudi authorities decide. Your passport needs at least six months left on it when you enter Saudi Arabia. Your quote says the amount, the currency, how to pay and when the balance is due. You get a written receipt for each payment.
